The fourth volume in our series of challenges undertaken by the members of Electronic Music Philosophy. These pieces all incorporate phasing in their composition. Phasing is a compositional technique in which the same phrase is performed multiple times, in steady but not identical tempi. Thus, the two phrases gradually shift out of unison creating new melodies and rhythms.
